RunScene x Mount to Coast November Giveaway: terms and conditions
How to enter, how the winner is chosen and everything else about the giveaway.
1. The promoter
The promoter is Liam Cook, trading as RunScene, 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected]. The prize is supplied by Mount to Coast, who are partnering with RunScene on this giveaway. Apple and Google are not sponsors of, and are not involved in, this giveaway in any way.
2. Who can enter
Open to UK residents aged 18 or over with a RunScene account in good standing. No purchase is necessary and paying for Runner Pro does not give any extra entries. One account per person; entries from duplicate or fake accounts are void.
3. Dates
The giveaway opens at 00:00 UK time on 1 November 2026 and closes at 23:59:59 UK time on 30 November 2026 (entries close at 00:00 on 1 December 2026). Runs that started before the close but sync to RunScene late are counted if they arrive by midday (12:00) UK time on 1 December 2026. The winner will be drawn on 1 December 2026.
4. How to enter
Each qualifying run earns 1 entry. A qualifying run:
- is a run (not a walk, ride or gym session), started during the dates above;
- is at least 1 km and lasts at least 5 minutes, with its time recorded;
- is logged in RunScene or synced from Apple Health, Health Connect or COROS;
- has not been deleted, edited below these minimums or flagged as invalid.
One physical run earns one entry, however many apps sync it and however long it is.
5. Referral entries
You earn 2 bonus entries when a friend creates a new RunScene account during the giveaway using your invite link (or the code on your invite page) and logs their first qualifying run before the close. Your friend earns their own entry for that run. Signing up alone earns nothing, the bonus is awarded once per friend, and only genuinely new accounts count. If the qualifying run is later removed and no other qualifying run replaces it, the bonus entries are removed.
6. The draw
Every valid entry is one equal ticket. After the late-sync window closes, all entries are checked, the pool of valid tickets is frozen and one ticket is drawn by a secure, computer-generated random selection. Distance, pace and ranking make no difference.
7. Winner
The winner is contacted privately through RunScene and by email within 7 days of the draw, and must reply within 14 days to claim the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted, does not claim in time or is found ineligible, a new winner will be drawn in the same way.
The winner will be announced on RunScene's Instagram, @runsceneapp, by their RunScene username, which is already public in the app. Nothing else about them is published, and a winner who would rather not be named can tell us so when they claim.
8. The prize
One pair of Mount to Coast running shoes of the winner's choice. The winner receives a voucher code to use on the Mount to Coast website, where they choose their pair and size and place the order; Mount to Coast deliver it. The voucher covers one pair of running shoes and its expiry date is given with the code. There is no cash alternative and the prize cannot be transferred. If it becomes unavailable, a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted.
9. Fair play
Entries from fake runs, duplicate accounts, self-referrals or any attempt to manipulate entries are void, and the promoter may disqualify anyone acting dishonestly. The promoter's decision on eligibility is final.
10. Privacy
RunScene uses your runs and account details only to run this giveaway, as described in the privacy policy. The winner's details are not passed to Mount to Coast: they order directly on the Mount to Coast website with their voucher code.
11. General
The promoter may cancel or amend the giveaway if something beyond its control prevents it running fairly, and will tell entrants in the app. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
